Voltage regulators regulate the electric current from the battery to the other electrical components.  If you find that your electrical system overloads when you rev up the machine, then you most likely need to replace the voltage regulator.   This voltage regulator, or rectifier, fits Jianshe 250cc JS250 engines.  Please look at pictures and compare measurements to ensure that you are choosing the right voltage regulator.

Regulator details:

• 6-wire
• (2) 3-wire round plugs (orange)
  
• One plug is male, the other female
• Wiring harness length: approximately 2.0 inches
  
• All three white wires go to the male plug
•  The mounting holes are center to center 58mm (2.28 in)
