This is the shaft that the kick starter pedal mounts to.  

Kick start shaft gear details:

• 16 teeth on gear
• 32 splines on shaft
• Length is approximately 129mm (5.08 in)
  
• Diameter of gear: 94.6mm (3.73 in) at widest spot
• Shaft diameter near gear: 16mm (0.62 in)
  
• Shaft diameter near splines: 14mm (0.55 in)
  
• Does not include bushing or washer pictured.
